Like Father, Like Daughter

We were recently introduced to the Singstar series of games for the Playstation. A friend of mine in California managed to find us the Singstar Country bundle from Best Buy during their $10 sale a few weeks ago and we have since picked up Singstar 80s. Auders (Audrey, for you uninitiated) has surprisingly taken to them, referring to them as the "singing dancing pink and blue" (pink for 80s, blue for country based on the cover art).

We played last night as a family and it was fun to hear her sing along to "We Built This City" by Starship, "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, and even "We're Not Going to Take It" by Twisted Sister. Something stuck, because this morning she still had some of it down. She kept singing "We built this city... in the mountains" and "It's the tiger soooooooonnnnnnngggg!"

Now I want to get Singstar 90s and see how she'll take to MC Hammer, Spin Doctors and Hootie and the Blowfish!

"It's the eye of the tiger... soooooooonnnnnnnnggggg!"

"No, we ain't gonna take it!"

Waiting for the next song to load...

"I just got lead singer!"

Audrey is so cute! Yes - that picture of Kevin and me in our biking attire was taken in front of your old house. A super nice widow moved in. She's been great. We had her take the picture. Are you guys closing on a house soon? Where are you moving to?

Looks like tons of fun! Butterfly likes rock band as well, although she's more interested in actually getting it right rather than just playing.
