Santa showed up to the Little Gym party on Saturday, and this was the first time Audrey had ever met him. This was our conversation while we waited in line:
"Audrey, what are you going to ask Santa to bring you for Christmas?"
"I want candy in my sock. And a cookie."
"Where are the reindeer, Mommy?"
"They're waiting back at the North Pole."
Of course when it was finally her turn, she went total limp fish on me and refused to speak a word to Santa. She didn't cry, though.
Best part of the party was a little boy who announced "that's not the real Santa everyone!" and his mother who quickly hushed him with a "yes it is!"
