“A gruffalo! Why, didn’t you know?
He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws,
and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws.”
--The Gruffalo
This is Nathan's current favorite children's book, though we only have the short film. He walks around the house telling the story of the mouse and the fox and the snake. But recently, everything has become "terrible." We must refer to him as "Terrible Puppy." And he must have his terrible blanket in order to go to terrible quiet time. I must change his terrible diaper (and that one really is terrible!) but the poop needs to go into the terrible potty. We get into the terrible car to take sister to the terrible school. It's actually quite hilarious, and honestly, if it makes him more agreeable about things, then I'm all for it!
